BILLIE JO!

This is Billie Jo our precious daughter-in-love. Billie has been seriously ill for a couple of weeks and we feared she would be taken from us. We had her name on prayer chains. We waited for updates on her condition. No visitors were allowed as Greg sat in her room day after day. She is home now and I imagine she was so glad to get into her own bed and have her little companion with her. If I can find one I will post a picture of her little dog.

CHRISTIAN FRIENDS ARE SPECIAL

I am so fortunate to have Christian friends who when I am in need of prayer I can turn to. These two
are the first to respond. I have known RAMONA HARPER KESTER LOGAN for many years and her son TROY is now my friend on FACEBOOK. PTL !

GOING TO THE BEEF HOUSE!

Tuck and Evelyn invited us to go to the Beef House on Route 63 in Indiana. He had a gift card for being Santa for a local business. We knew we would be on our own because the Gift Card they had would just pay for their meal. We went to the Westville Library for the monthly movie and they had so many delicious goodies that we decided not to get a meal at the Beef House but just get the Salad Bar and rolls. I am glad we did. Going there however brought back a memory of when my mom,  my sister Jan and I went there for lunch. As we were leaving I passed a table and I heard a woman say "THERE GOES HELEN PHILLIPS AND SHE DIDN'T SPEAK TO ME!" I had been accused before.  In fact I went to a TOPS meeting once and a woman came up to me and said "You have to be some relation to Helen Phillips." I asked her how she knew my aunt and she said "I am Sharon's mother-in-law." Anyway back to the lady at the Beef House; I told Aunt Helen about it and she replied......"now, someone is mad at me and I have no idea who it is!"

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

This is the last picture taken of the ROHRER FAMILY. It was taken to celebrate our mother Buelah Bailey Rohrer's 90th . birthday. Our dad Clyde Rohrer and our baby sister  Janice Kay Rohrer Harvey had stepped into Heaven. Left to right in the back row are Me ((Shirley Rohrer Miller) WILLIAM CLYDE (Bill) who last year joined Dad and Jan. Our younger sister MARGARET died in 1941 when she was 3 years old. Next in the photo is Robert (Bob), Then Thomas (Tom) Then Richard (Rick) who died in March 2009. Sitting in the front row is mom with Daniel (Danny who died in March 2009 just the next day after Rick. We did not tell Mother Rick and Danny had died but we know there was a grand reunion in Heaven on April 9, 2009 when Mom reached her promised home.
                                                          GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

REMINISCE AWHILE WITH ME!

Now that I am near my 80th birthday I am reflecting back in my life. I was one of 8 children born to my parents. My sister Janice used to like to remind me that our parents had perfection twice. The first was my birth the second was her birth 12 years later. My sister JANICE KAY ROHRER HARVEY died in November 1987 and I miss her. She was the light of our family. She weighed only 4 pounds when she was born. I liked to take her for a buggy ride when she was old enough to enjoy them. Last year her husband Larry Harvey died and I like to think there was rejoicing in Heaven when she joined him.
